I began my journey with a BFA in Painting and professional experience in graphic design, where I developed a sharp eye for detail and storytelling. Later, as an art educator, I learned the value of listening, adapting, and communicating with purpose. These skills now shape how I approach design research and collaboration. After expanding my expertise through courses at CalArts and Designlab, I have led usability audits, research studies, and end to end product design for websites and mobile apps.

When I am not designing, you will often find me painting, dropping into a West African dance class, or hiking and biking with my three boys. These creative outlets and community connections continually inspire my perspective as a designer.
